This Privacy Policy outlines how WeddingPitch, operated by Blipmedia Inc., collects, uses, and protects personal information from users of our platform. WeddingPitch is a reputation management software designed to help local businesses manage online reviews through aggregation, AI-powered responses, review request campaigns, analytics, and workflow automation. We are committed to complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and CTIA SMS messaging guidelines.
01Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following types of personal data from our users and their end-customers:

  • Identifying & Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number (including mobile number), IP address, and account login credentials.
  • Mobile & SMS Data: Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in consent records, opt-in timestamps, opt-in source (e.g., web form, landing page), and opt-out requests. This data is collected only when voluntarily provided and consented to by the user.
  • Platform Usage Data: Information about reviews, responses sent via the platform, interactions with review widgets, and reputation analytics.
  • Campaign Data: Data from end-users of local businesses, including names, email addresses, private feedback, public reviews, video testimonials, and information submitted via WeddingPitch landing pages.
  • Browsing Data: IP addresses, platform usage details, and data collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
  • AI-Processed Data: Content of reviews and AI-generated responses created using the automated review response feature.
02Purposes of Data Processing

We collect and process personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Review Aggregation: Collecting and displaying reviews from Google, Facebook, and other platforms in a unified dashboard.
  • AI-Powered Review Responses: Generating automated responses to reviews based on pre-set parameters using artificial intelligence.
  • Review Request Campaigns: Sending email and SMS campaigns to end-customers to request reviews, private feedback, or video testimonials.
  • Review Sharing: Sharing reviews on users' websites via embeddable widgets and on social media through generated images.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Providing reputation performance data and campaign analytics to platform users.
  • Process Automation: Automating review request workflows configured by the user.
  • SMS / Text Messaging: Sending transactional and service-related SMS messages to opted-in users, including account alerts, campaign confirmations, and platform notifications.
03Legal Basis for Data Processing

Under the GDPR, we process personal data on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent: For sending SMS/email campaigns, using AI for automated review responses, and any marketing-related communications. Consent is obtained at the point of opt-in and may be withdrawn at any time.

WeddingPitch / Blipmedia Inc. does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who assist in platform operations, including hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to handle data securely and only as directed by us.
  • SMS Delivery Provider: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are shared exclusively with our SMS delivery provider (e.g., Twilio) solely for the purpose of facilitating message delivery. This data is never used by Twilio for their own marketing purposes.
  • Third-Party Platform Integrations: WeddingPitch integrates with third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook) to collect and display reviews, and with social media networks for review sharing. Only the minimum data necessary for these integrations is shared.
  • Legal Obligations: We may share personal data when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Important — Mobile Data Policy: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/opt-out data collected through WeddingPitch will never be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party, affiliate, partner, or lead generator for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes at any time. This applies regardless of whether users have opted in to SMS messaging.
06SMS / Mobile Messaging Data

This section specifically governs how WeddingPitch / Blipmedia Inc. handles mobile phone numbers and SMS-related data collected through our platform and messaging programs, in accordance with CTIA guidelines and Twilio A2P 10DLC carrier requirements.

  • Collection: We collect mobile phone numbers only when voluntarily provided by users through our registration forms, opt-in landing pages, or account settings. Submission of a mobile number constitutes consent to receive SMS messages from WeddingPitch as described in our Terms of Service.
  • Opt-In: We obtain express written consent before sending any SMS messages. Consent is recorded with a timestamp, source URL, and the specific opt-in language shown at the time of consent. Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchasing or using any WeddingPitch service.
  • Opt-Out / STOP: Users may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message. Upon receipt of a STOP message, we will immediately cease sending further messages to that number and send a one-time confirmation SMS. Opt-out requests are honored within 24 hours.
  • HELP Keyword: Users may reply HELP to any SMS to receive support information including our contact details: (212) 920-1700 and admin@weddingpitch.com.
  • Message Types: SMS messages sent through WeddingPitch are transactional and service-related in nature, including account notifications, campaign confirmations, review request alerts, and platform status updates.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on account activity and campaign settings. Users may receive multiple messages per week.
  • Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply based on the recipient's mobile carrier plan.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes. Data is shared only with our contracted SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of message transmission.
  • Retention of Consent Records: We retain SMS opt-in consent records, including timestamps and opt-in source details, for a minimum of 4 years to comply with carrier and regulatory requirements.
  • Carrier Disclaimer: Wireless carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile opt-in data — including mobile phone numbers, consent records, or messaging history — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. This is a firm and unconditional commitment.
07Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect users' personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Security measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), access controls, and regular security reviews.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.

08Data Retention
